WinRed has a 1.4 star rating from 673 reviews and only 8% would recommend, with overwhelmingly dissatisfied customer sentiment reflected in WinRed reviews.

Positive Feedback

Some users say the platform makes it easy to donate and that it helps Republicans win, but positive mentions are rare in WinRed reviews.

Negative Feedback / Risk Areas

  • Frequent reports of unauthorized recurring charges and billing errors, driving many customer complaints about refunds.
  • Persistent spam texts and emails with inability to opt out, causing privacy and harassment concerns.
  • Poor or unreachable customer service, no live agent to resolve subscription or refund issues.

Key Takeaways for Future Customers

  • Expect complaints about billing and difficulty getting refunds; monitor charges closely before donating.
  • Be prepared for heavy solicitation messages and limited support for canceling subscriptions or memberships.
  • Consider donating directly to campaigns instead of using the WinRed platform if concerned about auto-ship or recurring charges.

I've been trying to get a refund for several transactions on Win Red. Would you be able to give me a call at 570-280-****? I am on that automatic payment of $10.41 a week and I really need a refund, except for the first week of 10/4/24.

I wish to explain my situation to a person. I’m not a pissed coustomer

Im a 73 year old Republican. I have a very debilitating disease that cost me more money than I have to treat it.

Its called Myasthenia Gravis. Its an autoimmune disease. No cure just lots of money spent on medications that require more meds to help me cope with the side effects. I would love to donate more , but cant.

You want my opinion on topics but they always require money.

Can you please stop sending text. Thank You MarkHappyMAGA

Annoying Constant Text Messages

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Oct 30, 2025

Requesting phone number to be removed as I receive barrage of daily teaser texts leading to requests for donations to Republican fundraiser WinRed. Issue not resolved contacting customer service, blame third parties. Will have to resort to filing lawsuit or change phone number and NEVER donate Republican via WinRed.

Original review updated Oct 15, 2025

WinRed: My phone/text number is xxx-xxx-xx53. Since I donated to President Trump's 2020 campaign, I received unsolicited text messages asking for more donations.

I have not donated via WinRed since 2020. I prefer to go direct to a campaign. Because of WinRed's harassment, I click 20xs a day 'Delete, Report Junk.' and 'stop=end' -- but the texts never stop. I'm about ready to file a harassment lawsuit, maybe class action.

I get approximately 20 texts a day. Many texts are insulting, threatenin, unprofessional. I have saved them for press, court action.

Please stop. -WKS xxx-xxx-xx53

Excellent advice. I stopped donating after WinRed ignored the moderate donation amounts of $35.00 & billed my credit card $849 & $847 twice.

If the recurring money is being taken from a banking account or credit card contact your bank. If by credit card call Card's Fraud Unit.

Dishonest and Non-responsive.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I made a $25 donation to a WinRed-sponsored solicitation that implied the money would go toward a Trump initiative. Then I found some fine print that indicated over 90% of my contribution would be going toward some out-of-state politician whom I had never heard of.

I immediately tried the Winred chat site to cancel the donation, but it did not function then, or many other times I tried it over the next few days.

On the day of the contribution and every day after for 3 days, I submitted cancellation requests via the WinRed customer support contact text form.

Despite Winred's assurance that I would be contacted within a day or so, I NEVER received any acknowledgement of my contact.

Also, on the same day of the contribution, I called WinRed's phone help number.

A bot confirmed my phone number, but could not confirm having received my contribution. I repeated this "Help" call twice a day for 4 days, with the WinRed bot never acknowledging my contribution, despite it already appearing as in process at my bank.

IN SUMMARY, WINRED IS A SCAM, ISSUING BOTH MISLEADING DONATION SOLICITATIONS AND FALSE ASSURANCES OF CUSTOMER DONATION CANCELLATION SUPPORT.

HENCEFORTH, I WILL SPAM EVERY WINRED SOLICITATION.

Cons:
  • Dishonest solicitations and consumer support claims

Preferred solution: Bank refunded my contribution because WinRed failed to respond in any way to timely refund requests. I want an explanation from WinRed.

SPAM TEXTS WINRED

SPAM TEXTS WINRED

They will not stop sending me text messages. Every single time I get a text message, I respond STOP.

They still keep texting me. I blocked the number, and then they text me from another number. This has happened about 20 times in a row. If you go on their website or contact them, they play dumb and claim that they don't know who is texting you, or how you can stop them.

This is a complete lie. Look at the other one star reviews on here, Google: winred text spam. Look at the Reddit threads.

Shame on winred. STOP SPAM TEXTING ME!

Resolved: WinRed - Review in Financial Services category from San Antonio, Texas

I want you to stop sending me texes on my phone # 210 849.9586. I called my old lawyer and sent him the phone letter saying canceling WinRed subscription, shame on you.

He will write you and it will cost me more. But it is worth it to have you harass me continually every day. I have to have a grandchild cancel them, and type this for me. I am not going to possibly be her next year, I am 84 years old and very ill, and your continued emails, Messages, which are my texting, you sends me up to 45 Tex messages a day, that is hateful and sardonic.

It makes me ashamed to be a republication. I want my account with Win-Red and the 50 other ways you pull putting your texting, backwards and forward names. Shame on your scam. CANCEL ME NOW.

To get my money back

Took lots of money without permission! Months went by without me noticing.

Who knows how much money they have taken from my account? All I was doing was trying to help the Republican Party win. But looking at my transactions, they have literally stolen money from me. I made it a point every time I donated to make sure to cancel any recurring payments.

This is unacceptable. Donations are supposed to be given, not taken!!!

#WinRed; sleazy GOP Credit Card Group for GOP donations online

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I've supported President Trump from the outset. #WinRed was the brainchild credit card company of some Bigwig Republican; which, became a sleazy, untrustworthy group, when your donations recede in the amounts your previously gave.

I made a $30 donation. #WinRed charged my CC $847.99, instead. I called my Bank's Fraud unit that fought #WinRed for the error. While they were in the throes of addressing this travesty, I tried to make another moderate donation to the GOP online.

I was $35.00. This time #WinRed charged my Credit Card, $849.77. The 3rd time, I used a different bank & debited a $35.00 donation. #WinRed my debited my card$849.99.

I was able to secure the telephone number for #WinRed and called to register a complaint. When I was finally able to speak w/a representative; I was told in order to get any opportunity to speak w/ someone, I had to provide $5.00 via my credit card. After that I would be charged $39.00/month for membership. Who pays for a membership to a Credit Card company that processes donations, when that company gets a percentage of each donation- decided upon prior to their contract! I stopped giving donations.

#WinRed messages allegedly representing GOP candidates have become nasty & threatening. #WinRed cretins even questioned if I was a citizen. My info was given to the Democrats; whereby, I had to cease their calls and messages. You can't write a letter to President Trump at the WH, since Truth Social became his website.

The website is lacking in too many areas & privacy is non-existent. #WinRed has threatened me, since I did not answer their polls, I'm eliminated from getting any DOGE$.

I've had it!! As long as Candidates use #WinRed for donations, I won't give any thing as the GOP Credit Card group is a nefarious, untrustworthy organization, that even has the audacity to ask for a Tip, when you make donations.

Used checked box to steal over $20,000 from my senior father

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My father unknowingly 'signed up' to make a few small donations to the Trump platform. WinRed continued to pull donations (sometimes more than 25 in a day) to all sorts of other campaigns.

My father is 85 and didn't realize this was happening.

He was sent threatening emails and texts and has not been able to fully cancel. He gets more than 50 texts a day
