- - Donated $25 to WinRed; funds go to a Trump out-of-state politician; cancellation attempts via chat, text, and phone bot were not acknowledged.
I made a $25 donation to a WinRed-sponsored solicitation that implied the money would go toward a Trump initiative. Then I found some fine print that indicated over 90% of my contribution would be going toward some out-of-state politician whom I had never heard of.
I immediately tried the Winred chat site to cancel the donation, but it did not function then, or many other times I tried it over the next few days.
On the day of the contribution and every day after for 3 days, I submitted cancellation requests via the WinRed customer support contact text form.
Despite Winred's assurance that I would be contacted within a day or so, I NEVER received any acknowledgement of my contact.
Also, on the same day of the contribution, I called WinRed's phone help number.
A bot confirmed my phone number, but could not confirm having received my contribution. I repeated this "Help" call twice a day for 4 days, with the WinRed bot never acknowledging my contribution, despite it already appearing as in process at my bank.
IN SUMMARY, WINRED IS A SCAM, ISSUING BOTH MISLEADING DONATION SOLICITATIONS AND FALSE ASSURANCES OF CUSTOMER DONATION CANCELLATION SUPPORT.
HENCEFORTH, I WILL SPAM EVERY WINRED SOLICITATION.
- Dishonest solicitations and consumer support claims
Preferred solution: Bank refunded my contribution because WinRed failed to respond in any way to timely refund requests. I want an explanation from WinRed.

I'm done being bullied by you all - I want any and all recurring donations cancelled. I refuse to support anyone or entity who does this to people, especially seniors.

Created an account for when I donate. Need to cancel it Causing problems

Nothing happened other than leaving a message for someone to contact me. I created an account so I could see what donations I've given to whom and what donations are recurring.
Only made things worse. Donations aren't going through or taking longer, so I can't tell. How do I get a written listing?

Preferred solution: Close my account and I will go back to entering credit card at time make a donation. Plus, need a listing of donations so I can keep track, especially a list of recurring donations

I have tried many times to reach you with no response. You have way overcharged one of my donations and I need a total refund on that.
Also, I want refunds from 1/25 thru 10/25
immediately. Also I am at the point of totally discontinuing you completely I have had it with your rudeness and not responding to my refunds.

Reoccurring donation
- - Recurring donations continue after card loss due to a virtual number; cannot stop; reviewer plans FTC complaint and suggests paying by check.
Please note. If you loose your credit card and get a new one.
The recurring donations continue because once you give a company your credit # the company assign a virtual number to your name and even if you don't give them the new card number, you recurring donations don't stop. There is no way you are able to stop this.
I am complaining to the FTC. And so should everyone else.use check to donate monthly

Referred me to Just Answer instead of someone at WinRed as I was led to believe. All I needed was to speak with someone to remove my name from the list of text and email messages which I get from all over the US.
It's ridiculous to send so many. I spend valuable time daily deleting your messages.
